CFD Project

     This project was completed for my Applied Fluid Dynamics course. This project required use to use SolidWorks and ANSYS software to model, observe and analyze fluid flow through a pipe. The goals of this project were to familiarize ourselves with ANSYS software by creating a mesh, and then varying the inlet velocity to track the velocity profile, pressure drop, and entrance length along the pipe's length. This challenged us to use our CAD skills learned in previous courses and the knowledge gained in our current and prerequisite course to observe and analyze the fluid flow in a simulation and compare to real world results. This project was an individual assignment, the project report is attached below.
